Amonics Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifiers are available in several variants ; benchtop, rackmount or OEM veersion:

– EDFAs can have a high gain and an output power of up to 4W. These EDFAs exist in different versions without polarization or maintaining polarization guaranteeing a polarized signal at the amplifier output.

– Intermediate power EDFAs that work in a 13dBm power range at 27dBm also in PM version or without.

– Low noise EDFAs which are erbium doped fiber optic amplifiers specially designed to offer high gain and low noise factor. The gain at -50 dBm reaches 50 dB, and the noise factor is only 3.5 dB (at -30 dBm). Polarized verions are also available. They are particularly well suited for applications that require the detection of weak optical signals.
