DFB Laser Diode & QCL Laser Diode
Nano-Giga offers a wide range of wavelengths for DFB lasers (Distributed Feedback Laser) , Fabry Perot lasers and QCL lasers from 370nm to 12 micron, singlemode, multimode, fibered or not, DFB laser or DBR laser diodes, FBG stabilized on a Bragg grating, quantum cascade (DFB-QCL) . We offer a selection of wavelength and custom box.
Distributed Feedback (DFB) Laser diodes are single frequency and offer a narrow linewidth with great side mode suppression, low RIN and high power upto 100mW . Single frequency emission is ensured via a Bragg grating.
Discreet-Mode (DM) Laser Diodes are also available. Discreet-Mode (DM) Laser Diodes are produced with a simple and low cost fabrication process and have many advantages, such as very high side mode suppression ratio, stable operation over a large temperature range, narrow linewidth and low sensitivity to optical feedback.
Free space and fiber pigtailed versions are available in IR narrow linewidth lasers around 100KHz for DFB. There are also many Wavelengths and Output Powers ranges to choose from.
Our DFB, DM , Fabry Perot and QCL are mainly specified as follow:
- Single frequency output, tunable by temperature or current
- CW or pulsed operation
- 14-pin butterfly or 14-pin DIL, TOCAN, HHL ,package with built-in thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, and photodiode
- Single-mode fiber pigtail or polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber pigtail
- Optional FC/PC or FC/APC connector
